That’s me. a9. Paying a buck 25 for some fizzy fame. Actually, I bought it, then gave it to another kid who got HIS picture in the paper right below mine, enjoying a swig of this particular bottle of toxic waste.

The Near Future

Today I was thinking about how I always dreamed of what I would become when I grew up, and I realised, that at some point, I will BE up, and it will be time to stop dreaming and start acting. If I decide to take a different rout than college, that time will be very soon. It’s about time to embark on life, wouldent you say? Its been way to long to wait, to the point of me becoming desensitised to the mundain cycle of school. So now I ask myself, what will I do with my life? Where will I go? It’s as huge a freedom as it is a responsibility, and the prospect excites me. But what? How? Where? When? The possibilities are endless.
I guess I still have almost a whole year to plan, wich is more than enough, but today, the edge seemmed visibly closer, and I felt compelled to voice my thoughts. Here’s to the near future. cheers

a9 “Journey to The East”

After a long and grueling journey to the east, fraught with glorious battles and crawling with terrors unknown to the race of men (the worst of wich, being a family with 4 toddlers who insisted on yelling the same phrase over and over untill the very scentence they uttered was woven in to space and time and flinging barbeque sauce in the general direction of every white article of clothing within range), I was glad to be able to stretch my weary legs, soak up some mountain sunlight, and breath the free -if oxygen deprived- air of conifer, with my dog, Musha (Displayed in the first picture). Looks like I was still trying to get him to look at the camera when my finger pressed the fateful button.

After a brief respite from my journey, I was captured by a wild tribe of mountain savages and taken as a slave and forced to decorate their expansive dwelling for a powow. I managed to sneak out a camera and snap a shot of a reflection of myself in one of the decorative stars, and also of the Chieftain’s beautiful daughter as she was preparing for the festival. (as seen in the second 2 pictures)

Many, many participants showed for the powow, in various ritualistic outfits. After the party, we all went down to a dance at the local place of education, and I was lucky enough to steal a dance from the Cheif’s daughter.
And so concludes the tale of my epic journey to the east, and the land of mountains.

So there’s this BOMBIN’ vert ramp that some guys built in a week, WICKED steep, but professionally built, and tall as you like, maybe an eight footer, going on nine.

people BUILT this, man, HOME MADE. looks pretty hard core eh? Well, get this, some sissy skin decided he was feeling insecure, so he wrote this under the video:
Change the title to “two min piece of crap. This is one of the worst ramps I’ve ever seen. It’s a vert ramp with 8 feet of flat. 100% guaranteed that no one ever skates this raging piece of trash. Ramp built by complete idiots/ noobs that have no idea what skateboarding is. GROSS!

now i happen to believe that getting involved in an online argument is like entering the special olympics, even if you win, you’re still retarded. But this is rediculas! what are his motives! Where is his sence of fun!? Why wont he take the Stick out of his butt?

Just because you can’t skate anything but perfectly made, low key, mellow ramps, dosen’t mean you can talk trash to hard working people who have the inspiration to get off their butts and make structures you could never dream of skating. Its not about how NICE the ramp is, its not about…ITS SKATING, OK?!?! WHO CARES! let it GO! I need to let it go too! Just, AUG!
